Future Trends in Electric Trucks
E-Axles or distributed motors for high transmission efficiency and flexible space layouts
Currently, heavy trucks that switch from using oil to using electricity mostly use a similar central drive mode to fuel trucks. However, they experience drawbacks such as heavy weight, large volume, and low efficiency.
In contrast, the newly developed pure electric heavy truck improves the overall electric drive system by eliminating the conventional driveshaft and redesigning the frame structure to accommodate flat battery placement within the chassis.
Larger space
The flat-bottomed battery arrangement increases cargo capacity by more than 10% compared to existing electric vehicles, equivalent to the cargo capacity of conventional models.
Safer structure
The battery pack is placed in the box frame to lower the center of gravity, minimize wind resistance, ensure battery safety, and maximize the frame's load-bearing capacity.
Lower risk
Lower center of gravity means reduced rollover risk and better stability and maneuverability. When one of the motors fails, the other can still work.
Powertrain Performance
High transmission efficiency
Brogen E-axle powertraina chieves a transmission efficiency of 98.6% thanks to the high power density technology, precision gearing and modular design. The distributed drive system is able to fully utilizing the feedback braking capacity.
Distributed drive-by-wire system
Distributed drive system tailored for medium and heavy-duty pure electric trucks. It integrates "AMT, motor and drive axle", is convenient for chassis arrangement, and can adapt to the complex conditions of purely electric truck applications.
Lighter weight, longer life
The weight of the drivetrain is more than 10% lighter than that of the competitors: the integrated molded axle housing, and the compact reducer structure achieve high axle load and low self-weight; the B10 life time reaches 1.6 million kilometers.
According to the customer's power and economic needs, we analyze actual working conditions, optimize the motor and system's high-efficiency area, then provide suggestions for VCU driving strategies or integrate economic strategies into DCU control.
DCU technology allows independent control of each tire, enabling EASR (electronic anti-skid system), IESS (intelligent electronic body stability system) and IRBS (intelligent re-generative braking system).

Less Maintanance
The main gearbox extends the oil change interval to 100,000 kilometers.

Equipped with IRBS intelligent regenerative braking system, the motor recovers 100% torque, and consume 10-15% less energy than a direct drive system, which saves the user a lot of electricity.

The gear passed the 1250-hour transmission test under operating conditions; the system passed 2.5 times load impact and 1 million times load fatigue tests without failure. Absolute reliability ensures the long-term stability of your fleet.
